Pls don't worry. If you purchased our item recently, Our engineers will directly upgrade the new firmware of the X7&X9 that you have taken in our store. You only need to download and install the new app to use it.
If old app is taken down and needs to be downloaded again, or if you have a machine that you previously purchased from us but want to use the new app, you need to upgrade our machine by yourself.
Needs to download Matecam Pro firstly and upgrade our machine themselves.
Attention: Different lenses of different machines need to be upgraded with corresponding firmware. Please contact us before upgrading so that we can help you upgrade and use our machine together. Otherwise, it will cause the machine to crash and become unusable.
The upgrade process is the same as the steps replace the lenses for purchasing IMX317 and IMX258 len before.
How to replace the new fireware for X9
1. Insert the card first and format it.
2. Connect the computer, LED all on, open the drive, and put new BRN file into the card.
3. Note: Disconnect the computer then connect the battery or power bank
4. Press the power button, and all LED will flash continuously. During this period, do not disconnect the power until it automatically turns off.
5. Restart the device.
How to replace the new firmware for X7
1. Insert the card first and format it.
2. Connect the computer, LED all on, open the drive, and put new BIN file into the card.
3. Starting the upgrade, the 1080p LED kept flashing then automatically restarted. After running the LED for one circle, can record normally.
4. Note: Delete the upgrade file, otherwise it will be upgraded every time the computer is turned on.
